Average Drive Times

Sugar Grove, 45 miles west of the Loop, is a small village with tremendous growth in its future. The Chamber of Commerce believes that the population will double or triple by the end of the decade. A number of residents are empty-nesters and retirees, but families wanting larger homes are now being lured to the area. Residents take pride in their properties and in their homes, which are well kept. This community has maintained a quiet country charm while existing in close proximity to an airport, rail system and major road system. Sugar Grove's small town, peaceful atmosphere appeals to many young families seeking a simpler life from suburban congestion.

Schools
Sugar Grove belongs to community unit school District 302, with a curriculum that instructs students from pre-kindergarten through high school. Programs for the handicapped, the learning disabled and the gifted are available to students at all levels. Teenagers attend Kaneland High School.

Transportation
Motorists can take the East-West Tollway (I-88) to Aurora, Naperville and the Loop. The Loop is an hour's drive away. Train passengers can take the Burlington Northern out of Aurora, or the Union Pacific out of Geneva. O'Hare and Midway airports are 55 and 45 minutes away, respectively. Sugar Grove is home to Aurora Airport, a business airport supporting light business jet and cargo traffic. Commuters can use Metra rail service from Aurora for a 75-minute trip to the Loop on the locals, 50 minutes on the express.
